“Phase Zero’’ is the first exhibition presented by Shift Gallery, where the dichotomy between the tangible and the imaginary fuse. A curatorial work that gathers animated artworks from Faux Par, Jess Bianchi, Katya Dorokhina, Kitasavi and Toyoya. Based in different parts of the world, some of the artists are making their premiere in the Web3 scene, while some are already familiar with its possibilities. All artists work with 2D or 3D animation and were challenged to create a short sequence to be translated into the magical moving prints.
The exhibition features short interviews with the artists, offering an insightful view of the works displayed at the gallery’s metaverse space. Each piece is materialised in a limited series of 50 certified lenticular prints and available to bid as a unique token. This inaugural showcase sets the tone for the distinct styles that characterise the artists collaborating with Shift Gallery.
